further approval levels where your policy requires them.
Maker-checker control · Value-based authority · Multi-level approvals · Account-specific workflows
An authorised user creates
the payment instruction and
submits it for approval.
DigiDoe uses the account
rules and payment value to
determine the approvals
required.
The required approvers
review the payment details
and approve it at their
assigned level.
The payment is released for
processing only after every
required approval has been
completed.
Apply an approval workflow to each DigiDoe business
account.
Set different approval requirements for different
payment values.
Assign an approval limit to a user or role so payments
can be approved only within the authority you have set.
Require one or more approval stages and define the
order in which approvals must be completed.
A lower-value payment may require one authorised approver. A higher-value payment
can require two directors followed by final approval from another authorised role.
A user must have permission to perform an action. That
permission does not bypass the approval workflow configured
for the account.
Determine which accounts and functions a
user may access, including whether they
may prepare or approve payments.
Determine how many approvals are
required, which authority levels apply and
the sequence that must be completed
before a payment can be executed.
Configure account specific approval workflows, assign authority by payment value
and ensure payments complete the required approvals before they are released.
